What is Immodium Instant?
Imodium Instants are used for two types of diarrhoea, acute short-term attacks and ongoing IBS related-diarrhoea.
How do Imodium Instants work?
Imodium Instants contain loperamide hydrochloride, which work with your body by gently slowing down your digestion to alleviate your discomfort. Your body can then absorb more fluids, with less fluid in the intestines and leading to a normal stool consistency. This allows water and salts that are usually lost in diarrhoea to be absorbed by the body.
Is Imodium Instant suitable for me?
If you have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) or short-term diarrhoea, Imodium Instants may be right for you. Consult your physician for the best treatment.

Side Effects

- Difficulties passing water.
- Severe constipation.
- Burning or prickling sensation of the tongue.
- Miosis (narrowing of the pupils of the eye).
