Side effects

Avandamet may result in low blood sugar. Low blood sugar can cause a headache, a craving for food, sweating, confusion, irritability, dizziness, or the feeling of being shaky. Eat or drink a quick source of sugar, such as table sugar, honey, candy, orange juice, or non-diet soda, if you experience any of these symptoms. Your blood sugar level will quickly rise as a result. Multiple doses of either rosiglitazone or metformin have no effect on their pharmacokinetics.
