Warranty Policy

Certain products sold by Welzo include a manufacturer or service warranty. Where a warranty applies, the applicable warranty period will be clearly stated on the individual product description at the time of purchase. At present, warranties primarily apply to mobility scooters and selected mobility equipment.

1. Scope of Warranty

  • A warranty provides eligibility for inspection and repair of the product during the stated warranty period.
  • Warranty coverage does not constitute a replacement or refund guarantee.

2. Repairs and Charges

  • All warranty repairs are chargeable, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the product description or accompanying documentation.
  • The cost of repair will be assessed by an engineer following inspection and communicated to the customer before work is carried out.

3. Shipping and Collection Costs

  • Customers are responsible for all shipping, return, and collection costs, including cases where courier collection is required.
  • Welzo does not cover inbound or outbound logistics costs for warranty repairs.

4. Repair Timeframes

  • We aim to complete warranty-related inspections and repairs within 45 days from receipt of the item.
  • In some cases, repairs may take longer due to parts availability, engineer scheduling, or third-party service requirements.

5. Faults After Use

  • If a product develops a fault after it has been used, repair costs remain the responsibility of the customer, regardless of warranty status.
  • Normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, or improper maintenance are not covered under warranty.

6. No Extension of Refund Rights

  • A warranty does not extend the statutory 14-day return period.
  • Once the 14-day return window has passed, the product is not eligible for a refund.
  • Products under warranty may only be repaired and returned to the customer; refunds or replacements are not offered outside the statutory return period.

7. Statutory Rights

This warranty policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

For warranty requests, customers must contact Welzo customer support to initiate the assessment and repair process. Items sent without prior authorisation may be rejected.
