Vitamin A ist ein fettlösliches Vitamin. Durch Emulgieren des Retinylpalmitatöls in Wasser mit Gummi arabicum und etwas Sesamöl stellt Biotics eine dispergierbare Flüssigkeit her, deren Aufnahme nicht auf eine fetthaltige Mahlzeit angewiesen ist. Vitamin A trägt zur Aufrechterhaltung einer normalen Sehkraft, normaler Haut und Schleimhäute, eines normalen Eisenstoffwechsels und einer normalen Funktion des Immunsystems bei.
