The Active Ingredient Is: Beta-Alanine

Beta-alanine is a non-essential amino acid that helps support muscle carnosine levels, aiding in buffering acid buildup during intense, high-effort workouts. This buffering action helps push endurance in demanding activities, making workouts feel a bit easier.

This form is used as a sport-forward amino acid often found in performance blends to back exercise duration and pacing.

What Does Beta-Alanine Do?

Beta-alanine helps to sustain performance by delaying muscular fatigue during intense training sessions. Scientific research suggests this mechanism ties to improved endurance and capacity in high-intensity work.

Dr. Trexler from the University of Nebraska at Omaha found that beta-alanine supplementation can significantly boost exercise capacity and lessen fatigue in high-intensity activities.
