Product Description

The Welzo GlideFold Compact is the folding powerchair for people who need real power. Twin 300 W brushless motors, a 150 kg weight capacity and 13° hill-climbing put it in a different class from the lightweight travel chairs – yet it still folds in seconds to 43 cm and lifts into a car boot without ramps or hoists.

A carer remote control is included, so a partner or family member can steer the chair from behind through a doorway, a shop aisle or onto a lift. The 12 Ah removable battery gives up to 11 miles and is airline-approved for cabin carriage; six-point suspension and honeycomb tyres keep the ride smooth over broken pavements.

Why you will love it

  • 600 W of power – twin 300 W motors climb 13° slopes and never feel strained
  • 150 kg capacity – one of the highest ratings of any folding powerchair
  • Carer remote control included – drive the chair from behind in tight spaces – no joystick juggling
  • Up to 11 miles range – the 12 Ah battery is one of the biggest in its class
  • Airline-approved removable battery – charge on the chair or take it indoors
  • Folds to 43 cm – fits small car boots and narrow hallways
  • 6-point suspension – a calmer ride for backs and hips
  • Puncture-proof honeycomb tyres – 6.5" front and 11" rear

Pay with Finance

We understand that investing in a mobility scooter is an important decision, that is why we offer flexible payment options to make it easier.

Pay in 4 Interest-Free Installments

At checkout, simply select “Clearpay” as your payment method. Clearpay allows you to spread the cost of your mobility scooter over four interest-free installments, paid every two weeks.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Choose Clearpay at checkout – no lengthy forms or credit checks.
  2. Pay the first installment today – this is usually 25% of your order total.
  3. The remaining three payments are taken automatically from your chosen payment method every two weeks.
  4. No interest or hidden fees – as long as you make your payments on time.

It’s a simple, safe, and flexible way to make your mobility scooter more affordable, helping you get the independence and comfort you deserve — without the upfront cost.

Clearpay is available to UK residents aged 18 and over. Late fees may apply for missed payments. Terms and conditions apply.

You can claim VAT relief if you are, or are buying for, a person who is chronically sick or disabled, and the goods are for personal or domestic use.

By agreeing to this declaration, you are confirming that you meet the conditions set out by HMRC Notice 701/7 for VAT exemption. You can read more here.
