Description
Bricanyl Inhaler for Asthma & Breathing Problems
Asthma and Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) are breathing conditions that primarily affect the lungs and can cause a range of breathing difficulties. Asthma often occurs after exposure to a trigger, however, it can happen randomly. Triggers may include common allergies to pollen or animal dander, infections, environmental changes or from exercise.
This inhaler contains Terbutaline sulphate, a member of the beta-agonist class of drugs. This inhaler is used to relieve the symptoms of bronchitis and asthma, e.g., chest tightness and breathing difficulty. It is a prescription drug and should be used after consulting the doctor.
What is a Bricanyl Inhaler and how does it work?
The active agent in this inhaler is terbutaline sulphate, a beta-2 agonist. This drug works by opening the airways by relaxing the muscles involved in respiration.
