What is the Betacap 0.1% w/w solution? 

Betacap scalp application is a formula designed to treat eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, and psoriasis on the scalp. It has 0.1% betamethasone as an active ingredient, a corticosteroid that lowers the irritation and inflammation of the scalp. It is designed especially for the scalp and for the conditions that are refractory to common ointments and creams. 

How does it work?

The corticosteroid present in this preparation reduces inflammation. It suppresses the activation of various genes, which are activated in response to inflammation. It also calms down the hyperactive immune system, which often attacks the cells of the body (autoimmune reactions). It also provides moisture to the scalp, and the lotion creates conditions that are not favourable for the growth of dangerous bacteria.
