The Active Ingredient Is: L-Citrulline DL Malate

L-Citrulline DL Malate is a non-protein amino acid linked to malate that supports the body’s production of nitric oxide, which helps blood flow to working muscles. This action can contribute to the muscle pump and endurance during activity.

This form is a common preparation used in dietary supplements to deliver the active ingredient for performance-related support.

What Does L-Citrulline DL Malate Do?

L-Citrulline DL Malate contributes to nitric oxide availability, promoting vasodilation and improved circulation to muscles during exertion. Studies indicate it can support exercise capacity and reduce fatigue, aligning with guidance on endothelial function and blood flow in athletic contexts.

Dr. Bailey of a university found that acute citrulline supplementation can enhance exercise capacity in healthy adults, supporting the role of this nutrient in performance-related physiology.
