Welzo Ultra Purity™ L-Ergothioneine provides 35 mg of pure L-ergothioneine per 2-capsule serving, a higher dose than most products on the UK market. Ergothioneine is a naturally occurring sulphur-containing amino acid made by fungi and found in mushrooms. Humans cannot make it, yet the body has a dedicated transporter (OCTN1) that actively pulls ergothioneine into cells and concentrates it in tissues under high oxidative stress, including red blood cells, the liver, eyes and brain.

That unique transporter is why some researchers have proposed ergothioneine as a possible "longevity vitamin". Our ergothioneine is produced by fermentation to ≥98% purity, encapsulated in the UK under GMP conditions and third-party tested, with no fillers or flow agents.

Features & Benefits

• 35 mg L-ergothioneine per serving – a high-strength dose – many competing products contain only 5–25 mg.
• Dedicated cellular transporter – the body uses the OCTN1 transporter to accumulate ergothioneine in tissues exposed to oxidative stress.
• Mushroom-derived, fermentation produced – nature-identical L-ergothioneine at ≥98% purity, vegan and non-GMO.
• Stable antioxidant – ergothioneine is unusually stable in the body, with a tissue half-life of weeks rather than hours.
• Clean label – vegan hypromellose capsule, no magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, colours or preservatives.
• Three sizes – 60, 120 or 180 capsules (1, 2 or 3 months at 2 a day), with multi-pack savings.

How to Take

Take 2 capsules daily with water with or without food, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Results compound over time – take consistently for at least 16 weeks for best results. Do not exceed the stated dose.
