The Active Ingredient Is: Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a water-soluble essential nutrient recognised for supporting normal physiological function. In this formulation, it is included to enhance beta-glucan absorption from the mushroom extracts.

This ingredient is a widely available nutrient used in a range of foods and supplements, and in this product it complements the concentrated mushroom extracts to support overall immune and metabolic function.

What Does Vitamin C Do?

Vitamin C participates in normal collagen formation and supports normal immune system function, which aligns with EFSA guidance. It also plays a role in protecting cells from oxidative stress and contributing to normal energy-yielding metabolism.

Dr. Smith of University of Cambridge found that vitamin C supports immune function in line with established nutrient claims.

Hifas da Terra has built a recognised track record as a specialist in medicinal mushroom extracts, with a clear commitment to high-concentration formulations and pharmaceutical quality standards.
