The Active Ingredient Is: Micellar Casein

Micellar casein is a slow releasing dairy protein that offers a steady stream of amino acids across many hours. This form helps to support the maintenance of regular protein turnover in muscles and tissues.

This protein sits in a gel-like matrix in the stomach, helping gradual amino acid delivery, and it is sourced from milk and is commonly used to back up sustained protein supply overnight or during long spells without food.

What Does Micellar Casein Do?

Micellar casein helps with supporting normal muscle maintenance by delivering a prolonged amino acid release, which helps keep protein availability through overnight periods according to EFSA-backed guidance. This slow-release aligns with the body’s natural protein turnover processes, as noted in nutrition research from the University of Lyon.

This slow-release mechanism may help maintain ongoing amino acid availability, supporting overnight protein balance and satiety without triggering sharp spikes in amino acids.
