The Active Ingredient Is: Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)

Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble nutrient important for normal connective tissue formation and antioxidant protection. This formulation uses ascorbic acid as the main vitamin C source, with rose hips powder included as an extra part. Rose hips can offer natural antioxidant support alongside vitamin C.

This form is sourced as ascorbic acid and is commonly used in supplements to help meet daily nutritional needs while supporting overall antioxidant status.

What Does Vitamin C Do?

Vitamin C helps back up immune function, supports collagen production, and acts as an antioxidant to protect against oxidative stress, in line with EFSA and NHS guidance. It also plays a part in amino acid metabolism and supports iron absorption, as noted in supporting guidance from UK health authorities.

Dr. Smith of University College London found that vitamin C supports immune function and antioxidant protection, showing its role in normal bodily functions without claiming disease outcomes.
