L-tyrosine is a non-essential amino acid that the body uses as a building block for several proteins and signalling molecules, and here it is provided as hydrolysed keratin of poultry origin. Among the minerals, iodine and selenium contribute to normal thyroid function, iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones, and zinc, copper and selenium each contribute to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
