The Active Ingredient Is: Whey Protein

Whey protein is a complete protein source drawn from dairy, giving essential amino acids you need for normal body function and tissue upkeep. This formulation uses grass-fed whey concentrate with added probiotic cultures for quality and palatability.

This form is ultra-filtered whey protein concentrate sourced from grass-fed cows, designed to help support protein availability for muscle function and recovery.

What Does Whey Protein Do?

Whey protein helps to support muscle mass and recovery in healthy adults when you pair it with regular physical activity, contributing to maintenance of lean tissue. Research suggests improvements in muscle mass and strength gains during resistance training.

EFSA-aligned mechanisms show whey supplies rapidly digestible amino acids that help to support protein synthesis and repair after exercise.

Reflex Nutrition is Welzo’s chosen partner for Whey Protein Powder because their grass-fed sourcing and Origin Green Ireland certification establish a trusted benchmark for purity and sustainability. This brand is rooted in UK manufacturing discipline, aligning with MHRA standards for supplement production and distribution, which gives us confidence in consistent quality for British customers. Reflex’s focus on clean-label formulation—no soy protein, no artificial colours, no excess sugars—and their use of ultra-filtered, instantised whey concentrate emphasise a commitment to product integrity. Their approach to production prioritises purity and mixability, supported by verified grass-fed European farm origins, which helps ensure a reliable protein foundation for this supplement. This combination of heritage, rigorous sourcing, and clear quality emphasis differentiates Reflex from many peers. Welzo’s team evaluated Reflex Nutrition for compliance with our ingredient quality checks and safety standards, reinforcing our confidence in this partnership. For our buyers, this relationship is reinforced by evidence from Welzo's healthcare professionals and how we verify ingredient quality.
