The Core Ingredient Reads: Marine Collagen (Hydrolysed)

Marine collagen is a protein used as a source of bioavailable amino acids for connective tissues in the body. This form is hydrolysed to improve digestibility and absorption, and it is sourced from wild-caught fish. The formulation also includes Vitamin C to support collagen formation.

What Exactly Does Marine Collagen Do?

Bioavailable marine collagen peptides contribute to skin elasticity and hydration and support connective tissue by providing amino acids used in collagen synthesis, while Vitamin C supports the enzymatic formation of collagen. This mechanism aligns with EFSA guidance on collagen formation.

Dr. Proksch of University of Kiel found improvements in skin hydration and elasticity with marine collagen supplementation, illustrating its potential role in supporting normal skin structure and resilience.
