L-Citrulline is a non-essential amino acid that serves as a nitric oxide precursor to help vasodilation and better blood flow during activity.

This form is often used in non-stimulant pre-workouts to help nutrient delivery and exercise performance via enhanced blood flow.

L-Citrulline helps maintain steady nitric oxide production, which is involved in healthy blood flow and vascular function.

Dr. Gonzalez from a university showed that this nutrient contributes to better blood flow through its role in nitric oxide synthesis.

In addition, it teams up with other pump related ingredients in some formulas to aid endurance and hydration during activity.
