How to take a urine sample

Register and Activate Your Kit
Before collecting your sample, it is essential to register your kit online. Without registration, we will not know where to send your results.

• Visit https://app.welzo.com/register/ to activate your kit.
• Use the registration number provided on the PDF included in your kit during the registration process.
• Follow the instructions to complete the activation.

Prepare a clean, comfortable area where you will take your urine sample. Use a flat surface or table to organise your kit items.

Open the urine collection cup and place it on a stable surface.

Ensure the provided tube is within reach, standing upright.

Wash your hands thoroughly with warm water for 2–3 minutes to ensure cleanliness and minimise contamination.

Drink plenty of water about 30 minutes before collecting your sample to ensure sufficient urine flow.

1. Open the urine collection cup.
2. Urinate directly into the cup, filling it to the marked line if applicable.
3. Carefully pour the urine from the collection cup into the provided tube, filling it to the required line.
4. Securely close the tube with the cap provided.

• Place the urine-filled tube inside the 95KPA specimen pouch included in your kit.
• Ensure the pouch is sealed properly to avoid leaks.
• Fill out the label and wrap it around the tube securely.

Place the sealed 95KPA specimen pouch inside the protective plastic case.

Fill out the return form included in your kit.

Put the protective case, sample, and return form inside the prepaid return envelope and seal it securely.

Drop the envelope into a priority postbox for next-day delivery on working days to our lab for analysis.

Take a photo of the return label for tracking purposes in case of postal delays.
