Il cardo mariano è una pianta della famiglia delle margherite i cui semi sono utilizzati nelle tradizioni erboristiche europee da oltre mille anni. Contengono un complesso di flavonolignani collettivamente chiamati silimarina, di cui la silibinina è il componente principale; la standardizzazione dell'estratto garantisce una quantità costante in ogni capsula. Gli altri ingredienti sono cellulosa microcristallina, stearato di magnesio, acido stearico e biossido di silicio.
Indicazioni
Adulti: una capsula due o tre volte al giorno. Bambini dai tre ai sei anni: da mezza a una capsula al giorno; da sei a dodici: da mezza a una capsula due volte al giorno; dodici e oltre: una capsula due volte al giorno. Assumere in dosi frazionate con un pasto contenente grassi. Inizia dal basso e aumenta gradualmente. Oppure come consigliato dal tuo medico.
