Fabulous little scooter

I bought this for my husband to enable him to get out and about more due to his mobility issues & he is absolutely thrilled with it. It is really good on flat terrain but can be bumpy at times. It is great to fold down to put in the car, onto buses & trains to enable him to get out and about on his own. It is practical & weighs about the same as a heavy suitcase so if you cannot lift it to put in car, onto bus or train when folded it would be a problem. Time will tell how robust it will be, but at the moment it has given him a new lease of life so can't complain. I think it was value for money & well worth the investment.

Welzo lightweight motability scooter

First impressions are that the scooter is quite well made. I purchased the scooter for my wife to replace the one she had. On unpacking the paint on the front of the scooter was found to be chipped, when i reported this i was told it was just cosmetic and no further action would be taken, another fault has been identified, the meter that tells you how many km youve travelled doesnt work, still waiting for a reply as what they are going to do about that. With regards to it being lightweight, if your a young person it probably is, but being someone in their late 70s lifting it in and out of a car is a big struggle, i was told to lift it by the handle on the seat and the steering arms as they have been designed for that purpose?, when you do it that way the back wheels drop slightly which makes it even more akward to get into the boot of the car. I am convinced that the video on the web site uses a different scooter when it comes to the person putting it into the boot of his car, either that or he's a weight lifter as he makes it look so easy. Would i buy another one, the answer to that is NO.

I can drive this onto trains and buses then press a button to fold it out of the way. At my destination I press the button again to unfold it and drive it off, perfect.

not lightweight but robust

Nifty mobility scooter !

Nifty it is BUT lightweight it is NOT.!
The adjective LIGHTWEIGHT IMO should be changed to give a proper sense of the MOBILITY SCOOTER. Able bodied male friends struggle with lifting this.
It folds /unfolds effortlessly - a joy to watch & enjoy.
I am pleased with this mobility scooter . The score reflects the lack of lightness. It’s heavy !!!

Just too heavy to transport

Must start by saying the quality and build of the scooter are excellent and the auto-folding option is a real bonus.
Price wise too it’s very competitive.
But lightweight it is not!
It is very heavy and takes two people to lift it into the boot of the car and it seems heavier trying to lift it out.
Some reviews I read before purchasing “mentioned” it was heavier than expected but the few that did, didn’t really emphasise the point - hence my emphasis here.
As a result it’s now sitting in the garage unused and may have to sell it as my return options have ended.
In summary the scooter for the price is excellent both in quality and functionality BUT it’s very heavy particularly for older people to be lifting and transporting.

My parents surprised me with a mobility scooter for my birthday. I’m 47 and didn’t think I was ready for one. How wrong was I! It’s absolutely amazing it enables me to do more and actually say yes to those long days out. The scooter is so quirky and trendy, I have left sided weakness so I wasn’t sure about the steering but it is absolutely amazing I can steer and brake one handed. The added benefit is that it folds up and fits easily in the car. Thank you, came packaged well.

Scooter is very good love that it folds up nice and neatly, not so good on the light weight part, brought this scooter for my mum as her old one you had to take apart to put in the car and found that heavy, this one I find heavier so not so light weight, but over all scooter very good.

Very heavy but not as much as a normal folding mobility scooter, love the fact that you can fold it up and down with the press of a button makes it easier to store in the house or car. Don't pay for PREMIUM because you will get it whenever you get it, I paid the extra to make sure I got it early and it took 7days not 24hrs.

Lovely little scooter, easy remote control action. Took it on a cruise & fitted lovely in the cabin. Much more stable than it looks, it managed riding around Oslo & tulip gardens in Netherlands with ease. Once folded so easy to manoeuvre even I can manage it. My daughter easily gets it in & out of car.
