- Make sure the scooter is fully unfolded and locked into position before sitting on it.
- Raise the tiller/steering column into the upright position and secure it.
- Make sure the seat and backrest are fully opened and stable.
- Insert the key or switch the scooter on, depending on the control type.
- Check that the battery has sufficient charge.
- Sit securely with both feet on the foot platform.
- Use the speed control to select a low speed when starting.
- Use the throttle lever on the handlebar to move forwards. Release the lever to slow down and stop; the electromagnetic brake should engage automatically.
- Steer using the handlebars and avoid sharp turns at higher speeds.
- When finished, switch the scooter off before getting off.
