The Active Ingredient Is: Sodium Bicarbonate

Sodium bicarbonate is a gentle abrasive compound used in oral care to help with surface stain removal and pH balance in the mouth.

This form is a naturally occurring mineral-based substance commonly used in tooth cleaning formulas to promote gentle cleaning without fluoride.

What Does Sodium Bicarbonate Do?

In dental contexts, sodium bicarbonate contributes to removing surface stains through gentle abrasion and can participate in a mild oxidation process that lightens colour. Studies suggest these mechanisms help keep the appearance of cleaner teeth, with extra emphasis on oral hygiene in regular dietary routines.

Dr. Putt of UNC found that baking soda and related abrasives in tooth cleansers can help with surface stain removal in daily use.

This product also contains complementary ingredients that help support overall cleaning and freshness when used as part of a regular oral care routine.

This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
