The Active Ingredient Is: Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) from Rosehip Extract

Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin essential for normal body functions including tissue support and antioxidant protection. This form is naturally sourced from rosehip extract in a vegan capsule, with citrus bioflavonoids accompanying it.

The rosehip-derived vitamin C is complemented by citrus bioflavonoids to support antioxidant activity and utilisation of the nutrient within the body.

What Does Vitamin C Do?

Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation and helps protect cells from oxidative stress. It plays a role in immune function and supports the body's defences, with evidence discussed by researchers at academic institutions of vitamin C and immune function.

The combination of rosehip-sourced vitamin C and citrus bioflavonoids supports absorption and utilisation, aligning with EFSA-informed understandings of vitamin C and related citrus polyphenols.
