The Active Ingredient Is: Protein

Protein is a macronutrient that gives essential amino acids for everyday body function and tissue upkeep.

This bar uses a whey-based and plant-friendly protein mix drawn from sources like whey protein concentrate, milk protein concentrate, collagen hydrolyzate, soy protein isolate and hydrolyzed wheat gluten to help support protein intake.

What Does Protein Do?

Protein helps supply amino acids that support muscle protein synthesis and repair after activity, contributing to lean mass maintenance and recovery processes. This aligns with guidance from EFSA and NHS on protein’s role in healthy muscle function.

Dr. Moore from the University of Nottingham found that adequate post-exercise protein helps support muscle adaptation through amino acid availability and synthesis, in line with established sports nutrition understanding.
