Product Description

At 13 kg the Welzo FeatherFold 13 is one of the lightest folding electric wheelchairs you can buy in the UK – light enough to lift into a car boot with one hand – and it pairs that with a range most heavy chairs cannot match: up to 17 miles on a single charge.

The secret is a magnesium alloy frame, lighter than aluminium and stiffer than steel, carrying twin 200 W motors, four-point suspension and a 10.2 Ah removable lithium battery that is airline-approved for cabin carriage. It supports riders up to 120 kg, folds in seconds, and comes in Grey or Bronze with a 2-year manufacturer warranty.

Why you will love it

  • 13 kg magnesium frame – a genuine one-hand lift – lighter than most carbon chairs
  • Up to 17 miles range – go all day without thinking about the battery
  • Airline-approved removable battery – 10.2 Ah pack lifts out for cabin carriage and indoor charging
  • 120 kg capacity – magnesium strength without the weight
  • 4-point suspension – smooths cobbles, kerb drops and rough paths
  • Twin 200 W motors – climbs 12° ramps quietly
  • Puncture-proof 8"/12" tyres – no pumps, no flats
  • Adjustable seat and armrests – set it up for your body, not an average one
  • 2-year warranty – twice the cover of most folding chairs

Pay with Finance

We understand that investing in a mobility scooter is an important decision, that is why we offer flexible payment options to make it easier.

Pay in 4 Interest-Free Installments

At checkout, simply select “Clearpay” as your payment method. Clearpay allows you to spread the cost of your mobility scooter over four interest-free installments, paid every two weeks.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Choose Clearpay at checkout – no lengthy forms or credit checks.
  2. Pay the first installment today – this is usually 25% of your order total.
  3. The remaining three payments are taken automatically from your chosen payment method every two weeks.
  4. No interest or hidden fees – as long as you make your payments on time.

It’s a simple, safe, and flexible way to make your mobility scooter more affordable, helping you get the independence and comfort you deserve — without the upfront cost.

Clearpay is available to UK residents aged 18 and over. Late fees may apply for missed payments. Terms and conditions apply.

VAT Relief

Some of our products, such as mobility scooters and daily living aids, are eligible for VAT relief under HMRC rules.

You can claim VAT relief if you are, or are buying for, a person who is chronically sick or disabled, and the goods are for personal or domestic use.

This means the person has a long-term illness or disability that substantially affects their everyday activities.

At checkout, you’ll be asked to fill in your details and confirm the declaration below to claim VAT relief:

“I confirm that I am, or I am buying for, a chronically sick or disabled person, and that the goods are for personal or domestic use.”

By agreeing to this declaration, you are confirming that you meet the conditions set out by HMRC Notice 701/7 for VAT exemption. You can read more here.
