The main active ingredient is: Vitamin C, and this water soluble nutrient hangs out in our bodies to support normal processes and to help defend against oxidative stress.

This form keeps the nutrient as a standalone vitamin, it occurs naturally in foods and is used in supplements to support general antioxidant status.

The next bit it asks what Vitamin C does and here’s the lay of the land:

Vitamin C helps with cellular protection and plays a part in normal immune system function, supporting antioxidant defence as recognised in EFSA guidance.

It’s involved in protecting cells from oxidative stress and supports the body’s defence systems during daily activity. Dr. Evans from Harvard University found that vitamin C helps to protect cells.
