The Active Ingredient Is: Castor Oil

Castor oil is a plant-derived oil used to support occasional bowel regularity. Its primary fatty acid, ricinoleic acid, is associated with stimulant effects in the digestive tract.

This formula uses cold-pressed, hexane-free castor oil in a softgel, combined with fennel oil, and is produced to high manufacturing standards.

What Does Castor Oil Do?

Castor oil helps maintain normal bowel function by stimulating the colon walls, with effects that can lead to increased bowel movements within hours. This aligns with reports describing castor oil as a traditional laxative for short-term relief of occasional constipation.

Dr. Tunç of a university found that ricinoleic acid acts on intestinal receptors to promote fluid secretion and motility, supporting the normal digestive process.
