The Active Ingredient Is: Casein Protein (Micellar Casein)

Casein protein, particularly micellar casein, is a dairy-based protein that gels in the stomach to deliver a slow, steady release of amino acids. It helps sustain a steady stream of amino acids for muscle tissue during fasting stretches.

This form is micellar casein, known for longer amino acid delivery and fit for night-time and between-meal use.

What Does Casein Protein Do?

Casein protein provides a slow, steady release of amino acids, supporting overnight muscle maintenance. This contributes to normal muscle protein balance and recovery, with research suggesting improved overnight protein synthesis when casein is consumed before sleep.

Dr. Res from the University of Nottingham found that casein ingestion before sleep boosts muscle protein synthesis. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Rule One is Welzo’s chosen partner for R1 Casein Protein because its micellar casein blend is purposefully built for slow, steady amino acid delivery. This fits with Welzo’s focus on targeted, science‑backed supplements that help overnight muscle recovery and maintenance.

The brand’s approach to single-ingredient, fully disclosed protein sources mirrors our commitment to clarity and quality. We recognise Rule One for delivering a high-quality casein option that provides a steady amino acid release, which is ideal for night-time use or between meals.
