The Active Ingredient Is: Magnesium (Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate)

Magnesium chloride hexahydrate is a mineral salt used for topical magnesium delivery in this product form.

This source is derived from Zechstein Inside deposits and is designed for transdermal absorption during use in baths or footbaths.

What Does Magnesium (Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate) Do?

Magnesium participates in normal muscle function and supports the maintenance of normal energy release and electrolyte balance as recognised by EFSA guidance. Carded university research indicates transdermal magnesium absorption can occur during topical use.

In this topical context, the ingredient works in conjunction with the body's natural processes to support relaxation and recovery pathways following physical activity, as described in the supporting research context.

This supplement is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

BetterYou is our chosen partner for Magnesium Flakes because the brand demonstrates a relentless commitment to quality from source to finish. The manufacturer’s heritage in premium mineral delivery is underscored by their Zechstein Inside® certified magnesium, sourced from pristine Dutch geological formations and purified through a natural process that supports traceability and purity.

BetterYou’s product-specific strengths include third‑party validation of transdermal delivery by Cardiff University and dermatological testing that supports safety for sensitive and atopic skin. This combination of independent verification and targeted formulation highlights their rigorous quality standards and ongoing oversight. For transparency and accountability, their packaging is fully recyclable and designed for straightforward storage in dry conditions, reinforcing responsible manufacturing and use.

Welzo chose BetterYou Magnesium Flakes because the brand’s approach to sourcing, testing, and documentation aligns with our expectations for trusted supplementation.
