During pregnancy, avoid using an applicator; instead manually apply a ribbon length (approx 2 cm) amount of cream using clean fingers inside vagina.

Prior sexual intercourse is also a permissible moment for application, aiding in easing vaginal dryness symptoms. However be advised that simultaneous usage alongside condoms or caps/diaphragms potentially weakens tear strength hence avoiding their concurrent use is recommended.
