Welzo Ultra Purity™ Ca-AKG delivers 1000 mg of calcium alpha-ketoglutarate per 2-capsule serving. Alpha-ketoglutarate (AKG) is a key intermediate of the Krebs (citric acid) cycle that the body uses to generate cellular energy, and it is also a required co-substrate for the enzymes that regulate DNA and histone methylation. Natural AKG levels decline markedly with age, which is why the calcium-bound form has become one of the most researched compounds in longevity science.

Our Ca-AKG is produced to ≥99% purity, encapsulated in the UK under GMP conditions and third-party tested. Each serving also provides around 170 mg of calcium, which contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism and the maintenance of normal bones.

Features & Benefits

• 1000 mg Ca-AKG per serving – the dose used in the human studies on calcium alpha-ketoglutarate and healthy ageing.
• Krebs-cycle intermediate – AKG sits at the heart of the cellular energy cycle and supports the enzymes involved in DNA methylation.
• Source of calcium – around 170 mg per serving; calcium contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism, normal muscle function and the maintenance of normal bones.
• ≥99% purity – HPLC verified; certificate of analysis available on request.
• Stacks well – commonly taken alongside Welzo Ultra Purity NMN, Trans-Resveratrol and TMG.
• Clean label – vegan hypromellose capsule, no magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, colours or preservatives.
• Three sizes – 60, 120 or 180 capsules (1, 2 or 3 months at 2 a day), with multi-pack savings.
