Germoloider creme bruges til at lindre symptomerne på hævelse, smerte og irritation forbundet med eksterne og interne hæmorroider og anal kløe (kløe ani).
Cremen har to aktive stoffer, lidocaine og zinkoxid:
• Lidocaine fungerer som lokalbedøvelse, hvilket hjælper med at berolige smerter, hævelse og irritation og lindre kløe.
• Zinkoxid har snerpende egenskaber (som forårsager sammentrækning af huden, når den påføres), der hjælper med at krympe hævelse. Det har også milde antiseptiske egenskaber og hjælper med at beskytte og berolige området omkring anus mod skader.
Cream Base fungerer som en blødgørende for at hjælpe med at reducere anstrengelsen under tarmbevægelse og passage af afføring, hvilket er dårligt for hæmorroider.
