This product contains cetostearyl alcohol, which may cause skin irritation such as rash, itching, or redness. Canesten Cream may also decrease the effectiveness of rubber contraceptives like condoms or diaphragms. If applying the cream to the vulva or penis, use alternative contraceptive methods for at least five days after application. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor or midwife before using Canesten Cream. If you have already consulted them, follow their guidance closely.
