The Active Ingredient Is: Dong Quai Root

Dong Quai root is a classic herbal ingredient used in traditional Chinese medicine to support post-menstrual recovery and overall vitality. It’s commonly included for its role in blood-tonic blends that aim to top up energy after menstruation.

This form is sourced as a dried root used in herbal preparations and is often combined with other botanicals in liquid tinctures to make multi-herb blends.

What Does Dong Quai Root Do?

Dong Quai is involved in post-menstrual recovery within traditional herbal blends, with other ingredients described as blood tonics that replenish blood and help reduce fatigue. Scientific context suggests these herbs are used to support energy and resilience, aligning with recognised herbal roles.

Dr. Chen of Zhejiang University found that Dong Quai among other tonics is linked to replenishing blood and reducing fatigue in traditional use contexts.

This supplement isn’t intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
