Welzo Ultra Purity™ Capsanthin provides 50 mg of capsanthin per 2-capsule serving, extracted from red paprika (Capsicum annuum). Capsanthin is the xanthophyll carotenoid that gives paprika its deep red colour and belongs to the same family as lutein and zeaxanthin, the pigments that accumulate in the macula of the eye.

Unlike lutein, capsanthin is not widely available in the diet, which is why it has attracted research interest as a complementary macular carotenoid. Our extract is standardised for capsanthin content, encapsulated in the UK under GMP conditions and third-party tested, with no fillers or flow agents.

Features & Benefits

• 50 mg capsanthin per serving – a high-strength dose of the red paprika carotenoid, standardised by HPLC.
• Macular carotenoid family – a xanthophyll in the same class as lutein and zeaxanthin, the pigments found in the macula.
• Natural paprika source – extracted from Capsicum annuum fruit, not synthetic.
• Fat-soluble antioxidant pigment – take with a meal containing fat for best absorption.
• Clean label – vegan hypromellose capsule, no magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, colours or preservatives.
• Three sizes – 60, 120 or 180 capsules (1, 2 or 3 months at 2 a day), with multi-pack savings.

How to Take

Take 2 capsules daily with water with a meal containing some fat to aid absorption, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Results compound over time – take consistently for at least 16 weeks for best results. Do not exceed the stated dose.
