The Active Ingredient Is: Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice (DGL)

Deglycyrrhizinated licorice is basically an herbal extract drawn from Glycyrrhiza glabra and prepared to strip out glycyrrhizin, aimed at supporting your mucosal health. This version is used for its long history of soothing properties in digestive preparations.

This blend also includes aloe vera, slippery elm and marshmallow root extracts, which help support the stomach's mucosal defence mechanism alongside the DGL part.

What Does Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice Do?

Scientific findings suggest that this ingredient promotes mucus production in the stomach's protective lining, helping create a soothing, protective environment for your gut. Together with other plant extracts, this supports the stomach's mucosal defence system through the digestive tract.

Plus the other ingredients included offer protective effects that fit with its digestive health goals.
