The Active Ingredient Is: DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid)

DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid and a key structural part of brain and nerve cell membranes in developing children. It is categorised as a nutrient essential for healthy brain growth and function. This form is usually sourced from fish oil and helps support neurological development.

In this product, DHA comes from a purified fish oil source, which mirrors common practice for omega-3s meant for young children. This formula also includes other omega-3s which help support DHA's role in neural membranes and overall brain health.

What Does DHA Do?

DHA helps in forming and functioning neural membranes, supporting normal brain development and visual function in children in line with EFSA guidance. Dr. Richardson of Harvard University found that DHA helps cognitive development and learning in children.

Along with a balanced intake, EPA that accompanies DHA contributes to anti-inflammatory balance and nutrient delivery to growing brain tissue, helping maintain healthy neural function in developing children.
