The Active Ingredient Is: Iron (Heme Iron)

Iron is a mineral essential for everyday physiology and exists in a form found in animal-derived foods like desiccated beef liver powder. This ingredient provides a highly bioavailable iron source when taken as part of a whole-food basis.

From the product perspective, the liver powder provides iron in the heme form, reflecting its natural meat-derived origin. This concentrate highlights nutrient density and includes iron that is easily used by the body; the product’s formulation focuses on providing this nutrient alongside other liver-derived vitamins and proteins.

What Does Iron Do?

Iron helps with normal energy metabolism and with supporting production of red blood cells, aiding transport of oxygen in the body. NHS and EFSA-aligned guidance recognise the importance of iron in these basic physiological processes.

Dr. Williams of University of Exeter found that iron helps support energy metabolism in healthy individuals, showing its role in day-to-day bodily functions.
