The Active Ingredient Is: Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) 4:1:1

Branched-chain amino acids are essential amino acids that support muscle protein synthesis and recovery processes in the body. This formulation presents BCAAs in a 4:1:1 ratio of leucine, isoleucine and valine to aid in providing the necessary building blocks for muscle metabolism.

This combination represents the primary ingredient in the product and is designed to work alongside other nutrients to support normal muscle function and energy metabolism.

What Does Branched-Chain Amino Acids Do?

Branched-chain amino acids assist with muscle protein synthesis and may help delay exercise-related fatigue, supporting recovery after activity. Research indicates these effects are linked to stimulation of muscle-building pathways and reduced markers of muscle damage. Dr. Shimomura of the University of Tsukuba found that BCAAs contribute to recovery processes following exercise.

The focus is on normal physiological roles, including supporting muscle maintenance and energy metabolism in active individuals, with B vitamins in the product contributing to energy metabolism elsewhere in the formulation.
