The Active Ingredient Is: Humic Extract (Terrahydrite)

Humic extract is a natural, soil-born component that carries bacterial metabolites and trace minerals suspended in water, contributing to a broad, mineral-rich profile. This Terrahydrite formulation is sourced from ancient soil and blended with purified water to form the product base.

This form emphasises minimal processing and uses water without additives, giving you a simple, stable ingredient mix intended to support the gut environment.

What Does Humic Extract Do?

Humic extract is described as strengthening the gut lining and helping to seal cell junctions, which is presented as supporting the gut barrier environment and the communication between gut cells. The content emphasises a functional role in gut integrity within the scope of the product description.

In line with EFSA and NHS style guidance on gut health, these functions relate to normal physiology of the intestinal barrier and microbiome interactions without implying disease treatment or prevention.

This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

ION is our preferred partner for this gut support blend because their sourcing practices align with Welzo's emphasis on transparency, minimal processing and tangible material integrity. The brand prioritises sourcing humic extract from ancient soil deposits in nutrient-dense U.S. locations, paired with purified water to create a simple, clean formulation. This aligns with our requirement for clear provenance and straightforward ingredient systems that support a stable product profile and easy tolerability.

Our expert team evaluates brands on credibility, safety and manufacturing reliability, and we highlight ION’s use of Terrahydrite® as its core ingredient alongside a conservative, well-defined dosage approach. We emphasise our our quality certification process and engage with our medical team to ensure alignment with safety and sourcing standards. When we assess brands, we spotlight those with rigorous quality controls and a transparent supply chain, which ION demonstrates through its simple, two-component formula and shelf-stable design.
