Psyllium husk is a soluble dietary fibre sourced from Plantago ovata and commonly used to support normal digestive function. It adds bulk and helps in forming soft stools, contributing to regular bowel patterns.

This form is a natural fibre extract often used to support daily fibre intake and comfort within a balanced diet.

What Does Psyllium Husk Do?

Psyllium husk helps promote regularity and plays a part in normal bowel function. Scientific references recognise the fibre’s contribution to healthy digestion and stool formation, aligning with EFSA and NHS guidance on dietary fibre.

Dr. McRorie of Harvard University found that psyllium significantly increases stool output and softens stools, supporting regular bowel movements.
