The Active Ingredient Is: Lactobacillus acidophilus

Lactobacillus acidophilus is a lactic acid bacteria that forms part of the normal gut microbiota and supports the maintenance of a balanced intestinal environment.

This probiotic mix is stomach acid resistant and shelf-stable, designed to reach the intestines for maximum benefit.

What Does Lactobacillus acidophilus Do?

Lactobacillus acidophilus participates in restoring the natural balance of gut bacteria by colonising the intestines and supporting the production of beneficial metabolites, which can aid digestion and immune modulation.

Dr Plaza-Diaz of the University of Navarra found that probiotic strains can contribute to a balanced microbiome and improved intestinal barrier function, aligning with EFSA and NHS discussions on gut health.
