Do not use this medication if you have vitamin B12 deficiency anemia, folic acid deficiency anemia, haemochromatosis, haemosiderosis, paroxysmal nocturnal haemoglobinuria, sickle cell anemia, thalassemia, are receiving repeated blood transfusions, have an active peptic ulcer, inflammatory bowel disease, or are under 12 years old. Avoid use if allergic to any ingredients. If an allergic reaction occurs, stop using it and contact your doctor or pharmacist immediately. Some medications should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless the benefits outweigh the risks. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy before using any medication. This medication is safe during pregnancy, but consult your doctor or midwife about the need for an iron supplement. Breastfeeding mothers can use this medication without known harmful effects.
