The active substances are ibuprofen and pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. Each film-coated tablet contains 200 mg ibuprofen and 30 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride.

The other ingredients are: Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous, croscarmellose sodium, maize starch, silica colloidal anhydrous, magnesium stearate. Tablet coat: hypromellose, macrogol 400, talc, titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide yellow (E 172).

How to take

The tablets are intended for oral administration. Swallow them whole without chewing, using a large glass of water, preferably with meals. For adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older: take 1 tablet every 6 hours, if needed. For more severe symptoms, take 2 tablets every 6 hours, if needed. Do not exceed a maximum of 6 tablets per day (equivalent to 1200 mg ibuprofen and 180 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride). Sudafed Sinus Pressure & Pain 200mg/30mg Tablets are not for use in children and adolescents under 15 years.

If you miss a dose, take the next one when needed, ensuring at least 4 hours have passed since the last dose. Do not double the dose. This medicine is generally suitable for most people, but some should avoid it. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if unsure. Do not use this medicine if you have had a bad reaction to ibuprofen, any ingredients, aspirin, or NSAID painkillers, are taking other painkillers, aspirin over 75 mg daily, MAOIs, decongestants, or tricyclic antidepressants, or are in the last 3 months of pregnancy. Avoid if you have or had heart, kidney, or liver failure, a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding, closed angle glaucoma, high blood pressure, circulatory issues, a phaeochromocytoma, or diabetes. Seek advice from a doctor or pharmacist if any of these apply. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have conditions that may increase heart or stroke risk, such as diabetes, high cholesterol, smoking, asthma, allergic lung diseases, liver, kidney, stomach, or bowel issues, heart disease, stroke, thyroid disorder, prostate problems, lupus, sugar intolerance, are in the first 6 months of pregnancy, or are over 65. Discuss with your doctor if taking other medicines, including low-dose aspirin, anticoagulants, diuretics, furazolidone, heart medications, antihypertensives, corticosteroids, lithium, methotrexate, zidovudine, sympathomimetic drugs, cyclosporin, mifepristone, quinolone antibiotics, SSRI antidepressants, antiplatelet drugs, or tacrolimus.
