Do not double the dose. Possible side effects: Daktarin Powder may cause side effects, like all medications, but they are usually mild and not experienced by everyone. If you experience the following, stop using the medication and seek immediate medical attention: Very rarely: (affecting less than 1 in 10,000 people) –  Severe allergic reactions, including swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat. –  Lightheadedness, generalized itching, wheezing, or difficulty breathing. If you experience the following, stop using the medication and consult your doctor: Very rarely: (affecting less than 1 in 10,000 people) –  Allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, hives, swelling, redness, or burning sensation. Other mild effects that may occur include: Rarely: (affecting less than 1 in 1,000 people) –  Sensitivity reactions (such as rash) at the application site. If this occurs, discontinue use.
