Clean the thermometer probe thoroughly before the first use and after each use with a damp cloth. To measure an oral temperature with Safe and Sound Health’s Rigid Digital Thermometer: Turn on the thermometer according to the instructions in the packaging. If previously used, the last temperature reading will appear on the screen for 2 seconds. The °C symbol will blink on the screen when the thermometer is ready. Place the probe tip under the tongue and close the mouth. Wait for the thermometer to beep, indicating the reading is complete. Remove the thermometer and view the results on the large digital screen. Clean the thermometer with a damp cloth and replace the probe cover. A mild temperature increase is around 37.8°C. Consult a doctor if your temperature stays at this level for more than 24 hours or if it rises to 38.6°C or higher.
