Wartie Cool Wrat & Verruca Remover is een eenvoudig te gebruiken ‘vries’ behandeling voor verrucas en wratten, die identiek is aan de cryotherapiemethode die door artsen wordt gebruikt. Verrucas en wratten zijn kleine gezwellen van de huid die wordt veroorzaakt door het Human Papilloma -virus (HPV).
Wratten groeien vaak op de vingers, of op de achterkant van de handen, ellebogen en knieën. Men kan de gemeenschappelijke wrat herkennen door het ruwe oppervlak van het ‘bloemkoolachtige’ uiterlijk. Het wratvirus, dat zeer besmettelijk is, kan van de ene persoon naar de andere of door direct contact met een geïnfecteerd gebied worden overgedragen van de ene lichaamslocatie naar de andere.
Verrucas zijn vergelijkbaar met wratten, maar komen alleen voor onder de tenen of op de zool van de voet. Ze zijn over het algemeen pijnlijk en ze zien er vaak uit als een kleine witte ring van huid en zwarte stippen in het midden. Verrucas zijn ook besmettelijk en kunnen van de ene persoon naar een andere persoon worden overgedragen door contact met een nat oppervlak als een vloer.

Set the can upright on a table and remove the cap. Reattach the cap, aligning the freeze icon, and press down for 3 seconds (DO NOT EXCEED 3 SECONDS). You will hear the activation sound. Apply the frozen metal tip directly to the wart. For hand warts, apply for 20 seconds; for foot warts, apply for 40 seconds. A slight aching sensation may occur due to the freezing process, which is normal and should subside within a few hours. One application is usually enough to remove a wart or verruca. If a second treatment is needed, wait 14 days between applications.

If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor. Keep out of children's reach and sight. The container is pressurized and may burst if heated. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames, and hot surfaces. Do not smoke near it. Do not spray on open flames or ignition sources. Do not expose to temperatures above 50˚C/122˚F. Protect from sunlight. Consult a doctor if diabetic or with poor circulation. If used on children, an adult must apply it. Do not apply excessive pressure with the applicator. Apply for a maximum of 20 seconds on warts and 40 seconds on verrucas. If shared, clean the applicator with alcohol after each use. Treat only one wart or verruca at a time if they are close together. Side effects may include temporary skin whitening, blisters, de-pigmentation, or small scars. Cryotherapy may cause minor burns. If discomfort is more than expected, consult a doctor.
