The amount of feed and dilution of Neocate Junior should be determined solely by a healthcare professional or dietitian, based on the patient's age, weight, and medical condition. One level scoop equals 7.3g of powder. Neocate Junior can be prepared at concentrations of 0.69kcal/ml and 1.26kcal/ml, with the standard recommendation being 1kcal/ml. Ensure adequate fluid intake by offering water or additional fluids alongside Neocate Junior. Wash hands and use clean equipment for preparation. Measure the required amount of warm or cold water into a container and add the prescribed amount of Neocate Junior using only the provided scoop. Cover and shake until the powder dissolves. Once prepared, store the feed in the refrigerator and use within 24 hours. Shake or stir before use. If given orally, serve Neocate Junior chilled. Do not exceed a tube feed hanging time of 4 hours.
