Do not give this medicine to your child if they have had an adverse reaction to any ingredients, are taking other medications containing paracetamol, weigh less than 4 kg, or were born prematurely (before 37 weeks). If any of these conditions apply, seek advice from a doctor or pharmacist before using Calpol. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if your child has severe kidney or liver issues, an inherited fructose intolerance, or an intolerance to certain sugars. Also, consult if your child is taking other medications such as metoclopramide, domperidone, colestyramine, anticoagulants, or anticonvulsants. If unsure about your child's medication, show the bottle or package to your pharmacist. If any of these points apply, consult a doctor or pharmacist. Consult your doctor if your baby requires more than the recommended doses or if the fever persists. If unsure of your child's illness cause or if accompanied by a rash, breathing issues, diarrhea, or excessive tiredness, consult your doctor immediately. Do not give Calpol without medical advice. Seek immediate medical advice in case of overdose, even if the child appears well, due to the risk of delayed liver damage. If a dose is missed, give the next dose when needed, ensuring at least 4 hours have passed since the last dose. Do not double the dose.
