Shake thoroughly before use. Milk of Magnesia may be consumed with water or milk if preferred. It is recommended to drink additional fluids during use.

For adults: Take one or two 5 ml spoonfuls (use the first or second line in the dosing cup). Repeat as needed, up to a maximum of twelve 5 ml spoonfuls (60 ml) within 24 hours.

For children aged 3-12: Administer one 5 ml spoonful (use the first line in the dosing cup). Repeat as needed, up to a maximum of six 5 ml spoonfuls (30 ml) within 24 hours.

For children under 3: Follow your doctor's advice.

Phillips' Milk of Magnesia can also be used as a laxative.

For adults: Take six to nine 5 ml spoonfuls (30-45 ml measured in the dosing cup) at bedtime. Repeat nightly, reducing the dose until constipation is relieved.

For children aged 3-12: Administer one to two 5 ml spoonfuls (use the first or second line in the dosing cup) at bedtime.
